This is pure nonsense and nothing short of hypocritical of Bernard...Bernard had similar issues with King over their dealings..yet how many of king's guys has Bhop fought since they parted ways...exactly...one quite recently. So you have one guy who you sit there and bash for 10 years but do business with in the end but this guy who is like 2 years away from retirement and/or the grave you wouldn't? This situation is bad business, anytime a businessman let's emotions get in the way of profits you've got big big problems ahead of you.

I like Bhop's thinking. Top Rank is about to lose Chavez Jr and Mickey Garcia. Rigondeaux and Loma didn't pan out. Marquez, Pacquaio, Arce, and Darchinyan will likely retire in a couple of years. That only leaves Top Rank with Alvarado, Bradley, Rios, Shiming, Oscar Valdez, and Verdejo for the future. Those guys will not get fights and will most likely not want to extent their contracts with TR. GBP will rule the boxing world. Bob Arum wants to do business with GBP cuz shyt just hit the fan. All that trash talking on your part came back to bite you on your azz.

The new promoters who you mentioned are all under one company so pretty much by your logic GBP should have every fighter with zero competition from anyone else right...Since you went on a huge tirade about how bad bob is, then explain to me why it's not just bob who has trouble with schaeffer, why does duva, dibella, the guys from k2, banner, and so forth all have publicly had issues with Schaeffer. I can understand if everyone in boxing was crowing about Arum, but they aren't..they do business with Arum...most of those other guys do zero business with GBP but arum is the problem? Arum has like 2 to 3 years left in the sport, so when he's gone what'll be the next excuse? Arum in retirement breaking the game?

As I see it, if this Floyd Mayweather- Pacquiao fight would had happen then there will not be this many factions happening in the sport. If you aren't living under a rock, you know the primary cause for that fight not happening is Arum.

You saw how he handle affairs when he feels like he isn't getting his way. He goes on a tantrum and tell people it's my way or **** off. He also have a sour relationship with Mayweather and we can all dig back in those articles when he was attacking Schaefer first. Calling him vile names and the like, as I see it's coming back full circle now that Schaefar like Mayweather have no desire whatsoever to work with the guy. Especially when he is bleeding out with no way to clot up his wounds.

I'm sure when Arum is gone, the promoters will come back to an age of co-operation. It's like the time before when Arum and Don King were the warring factions, Arum won out and Don King lost basically all of his power. Arum/Top Rank starting working with all the other promoters.

The LAST thing Hopkins wants at this stage of his career is an alteration of the way things are.
He has a great view from where he sits with no desire to elect a path that would better the sport.
He's always been about keeping his business straight and himself first.

The entire GB/TR thing is beginning to look more like "Goodfellas" than "Rocky".
Both were great for the Film Industry.
The GB/TP division is lousy for the Boxing Industry.

Oscar De La Hoya is trying to get in with Arum because his power/image with Goldenboy is not worthy of respect. He has never done things in business terms, in some ways like Arum he has an emotion/personal vex about him when it comes to getting things done in business matters. Oscar doesn't have a great business mind, Schaefer does and I will presume that Schaefer the one who came to Oscar to let him know what can be possible for him in the promoter business.

yes he did, he was one of the more vocal ones about squashing the beef, now all of a sudden he doesn't want to do business with Arum smh. Weird how his tune changed, probably offered a bigger piece of the pie by Haymon and Rich when they break free.
