He's just plain stup*d. Just like he can't make adjustments on the fly when he's in the ring. He can't make adjustments to his "cabinet members".

That would be god awful if he was the President.

You mean he will never go broke alone if he becomes President. He will take the whole country down with him all the way to the poor house.

Or, it's called politics, and none of us know what's REALLY going on behind the scenes.

Manny's Arum's only big draw. He'll do whatever it takes to keep him. Let's not be naive and think there aren't strings being pulled and politics being played behind the scenes.

Like I said before. There are a million and one things that are going on behind the scenes, and a million and 1 guy that needs to be kept happy. Life isn't that simple.

            Hopefully he retires afterwards

I think he'll lose at least once in these last 5
Saw this on ESPN. I guess Manny saw All Access and figured he might be in line to fight floyd so he decided to float this to up his purse given that his last 2 fights didn't sell.

SMart move by team manny and bob to try and maximise his value before the results of the Maidana sales are in and before they acknowledge how poorly the tim rematch sold.

Pac needs to let the promoters fight for him on a fight to fight bases. Signing with Bob will only hinder his career more and keep the fans from the best fights.

Bob has already admitted to blocking big fights. Time for Pac to become a man and make his own decisions. He's a big boy and doesn't need someone telling him when and where to jump any longer.

Talk is talk... lets hope this "talk" is just like Pac's "talk" of "agreeing" to blood testing for nearly 4 years. It was all talk but no action.

It's true though. How many times has the government put the wool over our heads, and we think one thing, but there are a million and 1 moving pieces going on behind the scenes.

Point is, none of us know. This isn't the P@ctard in me speaking. This is the one with common sense.

If pacman resigns WITHOUT listening what GBP/showtime has to offer, than in MY history book pacman never really really really wanted to fight FMJ and test himself as a sportsman. The tough guys are at showtime. Canelo, FMJ, Thurman, Porter...

I do hope he takes the time to look at all the scenario's/options (including the cotto blueprint).

Whatever happened to Pacquiao's lawyer, Franklin Gacal? He's probably the only one from Pacquiao's team who has urged Manny to leave Arum. Manny is just a naive guy who get used as a doormat. Maybe Cotto should step in and give him some advice about being his own boss since they're now stablemates under the same trainer.
