Really, this should be of no surprise to anyone. A lot of fighters come from poor and uneducated backgrounds where promoters can pull the wool over their eyes with a lot of ease. Its happened since the beginning and here its happening yet again. Boxers have been taken advantage of for decades, the cycle will never end.

Pacquiao is a huge name, a guy needing very little promoting if any at all. Unfortunately, Manny seems to believe in Arum too much. I'm sure he thinks that Arum has always done things in the best interest of Manny. I expect we'll hear about a new TopRank contract signing very soon.

Forgot about ever seeing Manny in the ring with anything other than another TopRank fighter. Big loss for the real boxing fans, without a doubt.

I'd rather see Manny retire then continue to watch Arum get rich off him.

I told you guys for years this clown was a fraud. Years of smoke and mirrors! Him resigning with his creator is a clear indication that he wants no part of the best fighters available today.

Manny don't need a promoter. He need to play it like Cotto.

Cotto bout to get Floyd, Martinez and Canelo paydays because he flexible.

I hope he does not sign the extension and goes the cotto route. even if he does not land the Floyd - which I think he will if he does not re-sign - he could make bigger fights outside of TRs current stable. he has a big enough fan base to stand on his own and really does not need a promoter to do anything different than what cotto or Floyd have promoters do for them on an event to event basis.
Let's be real, who would not want to see Pac fight any of the following:

            porter
            Thurman
            danny Garcia
            adrien broner
            marcos maidana
lucas mattysee (I know I spelled it wrong)
            canelo alvarez

If he plans on having 5 fights before he retires, there is no way you could argue that he would not make more money fighting 5 of the above 8 fighters than he would fighting any 5 fighters TR has.

How can one man enjoy being ****d by Arum that much

He deserves what he gets. I pray to God he's smarter than this.

Floyd will never fight him so that's not a consideration, he's been shook.

However, TR have a limited stable, this isn't good for boxing fans.

Agreed should do it on a per fight basis and let the bidding begin. Just imagine the competition between the promoters lol
