No, I wouldn't say washed up but he definitely looked diminished against Molina. Now whether it was case due to underestimation, over training or even his previous bout with Danny Garcia, we will never know. One thing is for sure he certainly didn't look like his former self.

Prime Matthysse lost fair and square to an old Zab Judah by 1 point.

I think Matthysse won, but that was Matthysse the "boxer". After the "losses" to Alexander and Judah, he turned killer because he could no longer rely on judges.

He became exciting and that's when fans started following him.

It was a relativity close fight because Lucas started off slow but he dominated the championship rounds and dropped Zab. 115-112 or 116-111 is how I scored it both times I viewed it.

Molina just fought in the wrong division I believe and as he has moved up he's developed a stronger stance and solid background to be able to throw with more power.Matthysse in my opinion underestimated him, and I for sure didn't. I am still a Matthysse fan and he just got clocked by a big puncher on the night, no one is capable of being invincible to every boxer out there.

Matthysse really needs to head over to the Garcia gym as that will make him the most complete fighter.

As for Big John, I can't wait to see his next fight and I can guarantee you it won't be going the distance with his increased power at 140
These are great points. Actually, Molina is listed @ 5'10.5" on boxrec. He's way too big to fight @ LW and should do better @ LWW or maybe even WW. He needs to tighten up his defense though, and jab more. No way should Matthysse have been able to get inside so easily.

Nah. The style match-up made for a tough fight than most expected. Molina was stronger at 140 and looked like the bigger guy.

You can outbox Molina all day. But if you come to him you play into his strength which allowed for a fun fight.

                now garcia vs theophane

i think danny garcia needs to get back to fighting old people and glass chins, because he can barely beat anything else

at 147 he's gonna get his ass kicked

In case you're not aware... Mexican boxers tend to specialize with wars in the boxing ring.

Lucas didn't pick the right type of fight but boy was it fun to watch.

Go on, what about it? A robbery? You guys are all ridiculous and can't really score for ****. Garcia clearly beat Theopane and it makes me laugh at how this fight is even spoken about.

Judah beat Matthysse, the judges had it right, 114-113 for Judah, with one judge having it the other way around for Matthysse. An old, years past his best Zab Judah beat a younger undefeated Matthysse. Swallow it slow.
