When Hopkins fights guys that pose no real challenge to him, he doesn't clinch. When Ward fights someone that poses no challenge to him, he doesn't clinch. When Wlad fights a small, past it Jean-Marc Mormeck, he clinches every five seconds.

I think Ward clinched a lot vs Rodriguez but for the most part I agree with you. Wlads last performance was embarrassing tbh.

Wlad is a nice guy but in his last fight with Povetkin, it was a "dominate and suffocate" rather than dominate & terminate. I really hope he doesn't resort to those tactics again.

The irony of it all, is this is coming from a guy who doesn't like to fight or get hit and should've been disqualified in his last bout; For excessive pushing, leaning and clinching without throwing hardly any punches at all.
