He expects 100% of fans to unanimously call him the greatest ever or something? That's not going to happen. It didn't for ali, it didn't for SRR, it didn't for joe louis, jack johnson, ray leonard. I'm really trying to understand what is this void he feels he needs to fill.
He's missing the love that the little Filipino gets that's what. He loses and his fan base says see ya.... People pay to see him lose, not to watch him dance around to a boring UD...
He's insecure, and has a fragile ego apparently. When the fame and money stop coming in we may see a sad fall from grace for this guy.

I wouldnt be surprised if we saw Floyd come out of retirement for money. He had tons of money but he always spend so much. Once he retires he can't spend money like he's still fighting and I think he may have an issue with that.

The bolded exemplifies your average fl*mos knowledge of this sports history.

With all due respect guy, you are incorrect in your statement. How can the riches athlete in the world be unappreciated? He may not be liked but his bank account says he is very much appreciated. Some watch his fights to see him win and others in hopes of watching him lose.

First off, Leonard and Holmes never said they were the best fighter ever. And you have some facts incorrect. Pryor wasn't the one invited to Leonard's retirement. It was Hagler. And he didn't lead Hagler on. He was still considering taking the Hagler fight almost up to the last minute and decided not to risk another detached retina. Going back to Homes and Leonard, Floyd treated both of them very disrespectful when he met them.

There is one reason i will miss Floyd and that is Andre Ward! Because he will be considered p4p1 pretty soon after Floyd retires. And his style is much worse than Mayweathers. You have to apreciate Mayweather as fighter, even though you dont like him as a person. And dont forget his earlier fights, he was amazing back then and more offensive. Mayweather IS a great fighter! But not as great as he and some of his fans think. There is no way he retires as the GOAT, not even close. But he makes it in the top10 GOAT List IMO or lets say Top15, somewhere between 8 and 15. It depends on his last two opponents.

He'll be missed by his fanboys. I was fine when he was gone for a couple years before. Given his approach to boxing the last several years, I won't give a damn what he does. What is there to miss? His childish behavior and cherry picks? I respect any man who gets in the ring, but Floyd isn't a fight fan's fighter.

Wtf are they even going to talk about once Floyd really is done? Boxing? Not likely.
