There is one reason i will miss Floyd and that is Andre Ward! Because he will be considered p4p1 pretty soon after Floyd retires. And his style is much worse than Mayweathers. You have to apreciate Mayweather as fighter, even though you dont like him as a person. And dont forget his earlier fights, he was amazing back then and more offensive. Mayweather IS a great fighter! But not as great as he and some of his fans think. There is no way he retires as the GOAT, not even close. But he makes it in the top100 GOAT List IMO or lets say Top150, somewhere between 80 and 150. It depends on his last two opponents.

If Floyd wasn't black and American he would be ignored by the rest of the world just as Calzaghe was and the Klitschkos.

Floyd and Manny both will be both missed greatly because they were the two greats from this generation and both probably top 25 fighters of all time. Mayweather I think will do pretty well historical wise and many fighters for decades to come will be matched up against him. Not to mention that he will probably go down as the PPV king and how he is one of the most popular crossover stars he is a major historical persona inside and out of the ring.

Firstly, Delhoya was A side when they fought. He was B.

Secondly canelo is a hot commodity among Mexicans in a Mexican holiday when they fought. They were both A side.

Thirdly his fights are stack with great undercard fights to pull in more good numbers. (Which Pac doesn't need to do)

So no, if there is a ppv king that would be Delahoya.

Fourthly, if Pac and Canelo fought this September. Expect Pac and canelo to go over more than Floyd did to canelo in Ppv buys.

Pac is loved by all in America including Mexicans for having a fighters heart. If this fight happens. It will crash all records.
