So he did enhance golden boy he made it what it is. Who was making golden boy flourish when Oscar was doing coke and have many sints in rehab. He prolly didn't know much about boxing in the beginning. Now he's undoubtedly one of the most powerful power brokers in all of boxing. With or without golden boy.
You're missing the point. Sure, Schaefer is making money for himself, Oscar, certain fighters, and GBP. But he's also involved in a "cold war" with HBO and Bob Arum, which robs the fans of some of the greatest potential fights out there. Not to mention missing out on the potentially even greater revenue that could be generated by making the greatest fights. You can rally around the Schaefer flag and praise him for all the money he does make, which I assume you get none of. I'm a boxing fan, so when I see the actual boxing end of the industry take a back seat to the business end (which is insanely counter-productive), I am alarmed. The core of the business we're discussing is boxing. Ultimately, when the core of the business goes to hell, so does the business, but the orchestrators usually bail out with their golden parachutes. I'd hate to see my beloved sport become a diluted pile of garbage for the sake of some greedy, self-serving "businessman" who appears to care more about lining his pockets than making truly great fights.

The Greedy Team is the only one profiting from these Floyd fights. Not GBP and Showtime. Even a seven year old can do the math starting from Mayweather's $40 million guarantee. Who tf is going to make money with that gargantuan amount of money? Just imagine how many PPVs they have to sell to come up with that huge amount of money? Then he has to be promoted heavily, which cost millions, then the expensive undercards, should I go on?

I wanna see these fights too. As I a man I couldn't let you try to take money out of my pocket. Then bc it makes other ppl happy I should do business with you. No I'm gonna try to do business around you and hope you suffer the consequence of your actions. Look around ppl don't wanna do business with arum. It's not that they don't wanna make the fights. They don't wanna reward him millions of dollars for being a ****. I don't agree with the could war but from a business stand point I respect Schafer.

How can Floyd in a way work under golden boy. Yet call oscar a f@g a crackhead and numerous other things. All while still working with him. It's the money ******. Now fast forward to top rank they have on superstar that can sell out the MGM and in his last fight he didn't. Arum gets up there bashes the MGM and the MGM cuts ties with him. The money wasn't worth the headache. Money talk and bs walks and golden boy knows where their bread is butter. You always claim they don't make money off of Floyd when he single handled is handing them 30-50 million a fight on low end when all the revenue and corporate sponsorship is added up.
Actually Floyd pays gbp a flat fee to promote their fights. They don't participate in the profits. They don't Make much off his fights at all

Dude you are so biased its not even funny.

Is that true why is Main events and Lou Di bella doing business with Arum.

Also you claim Arum got Golden boy kicked off HBO, that is a load of bull****, it was HBO decision they had a falling out with Al Haymon, also Showtime was taken over by Espinoza who was Golden boys lawywer and they pushed Arum out of Showtime.

You only see whoever Floyd is cool with, stop having Floyds balls in your eyes dude.

            You are illogical.

I already broke it down for you and you still refuse and add your own stuff to the mix, When Floyd retires lets see how big Richard will be, Richard doesn't know how to build fighters. That is why top rank is still in business and Don King isn't, arum knows how to promote, you can't deny that.

And Richards last commit says it all he has no intention of working with Arum.

You are a true Floyd butt kisser, because if you don't see how this hurts the sport youa re foolish, you seem to be okay with it for some reason, boxing will hurt if promoters do no co promote.

Arum was willing to co promote before he NEVER had to according to your logic saying Richard doesnt have to help Arum, well Arum never had to help Oscar and Richard but he did, he co promote with them after they stole Pacman from him.

Arum is willing to move forward, Richard doesn't, if you knew the history of boxing you know that Arum and King hated each other but they worked with each other, like real professionals, Richard and haymon are ruining the sport, they don't want to do business with anyone else and want to sign all the fighters to Haymon and showtime.

I'm a Floyd fan but I don't buy all the bs he says either. Golden boy a fairly compensate that's why they are there. And if it was as cheap and easy as Floyd make ppl believe why hasn't he started to do it on his own? Golden boys is getting a dollar every where Floyd is getting a dollar. Grant not as much as him. They are getting paid on ppvs merchandise gate you name it.

It's my belief that the best in any business work out their differences so they can all make that paper. Schaefer trying to screw Arum screws many fighters (except his chosen few), the industry of boxing and us too. That's some selfish, b1tch ass ****, for which he gets no praise from me!!

why are you upset that a fighter is taking home more of the money than the promoter? the fighter is taking the risk, shouldn't he reap more of the reward?

Yes HBO made the decision to kicked them off. He was behind it. By behind it I mean he supported. He told the ****s over at HBO I CAN get you this fight and that fight. No he can't bc several of his major players jumped or are jumping ship on him. How professional is it for arum to have a legitimate axe to grind with the MGM. Then goes one step forward and asked the public to boycott Richard schafers company. Then hope you can do future business. That was the MGM problem no Floyd's or golden boys. Arum step over the line then and several times before. Only this time he's not the big figh in the small pond. He's the little fish and the big pond. Also before I responded to I responded to another poster. I'm a Floyd fan not a homer. I call him on his bs too.
