Like Oscar said, GBP is his baby. If he is a true fan and student of boxing, just as he was one of boxing's greats, he should realize the foolishness of having a "cold war" of any sort with others in the business. Any fool can see that making the best fights carries the most interest and therefore makes the most money. Take control of your **** Oscar, and tell the sissies who don't know a damn thing about boxing to STFU or GTFO!!

i'm not sure how much autonomy he has, if he can fire shaeffer, etc. i tend to doubt that he can, or that he would. he has no business trying to run that company himself. schaeffer is a former banker, and really knows money, finance, and business.

But WTF does Schaefer know about BOXING?? So-called "businessmen" claim to know how to make a business flourish, but they are often short-sighted. They make a ton of money in the short-term (especially a lot for themselves), then get out after they have virtually ruined the core of the business they were hired to enhance. They are the worst kinds of snakes.

A Hollow Fight the novel is up there with the classic Rocky

A Hollow Fight is the story of a troubled fat boy named Mike Crow who decides that being homeless is more satisfying than living a typical teenage life. Happily, he takes off from San Diego California and travels aimlessly down Pacific Coast Highway. He fights off weather changes, battles hunger, and searches for nightly shelter.
Months after embarking on an uncertain journey, the adventurer ends up in the Oregon wilderness. Mike climbs hills, talks to animals, builds fire pits, and meanders through monstrous trees as he lives as one with nature. Survival becomes what he believes will be the fight of his life after he runs out of canned goods to eat and can’t locate clean water. As he is dying, Mike spots a cargo train and is forced to stab himself for adrenaline.
In Seattle, Mike the bum rescues a girl being attacked; however, he is put in a sticky situation and goes to jail. At trial, he is found innocent and is approached by an older jury member named Ethan Chan, whom happens to be a boxing trainer. As Mike trains for his amateur boxing fight, he learns a thing or two about love when he bonds with the old wisdom of Ethan.

Available formats include iBooks, Nooks, Kindles, and paperback.

*Part of each sale goes to The O.C. Rescue Mission!

For you guys to claim to know so much about boxing. Richard wasn't hired by golden boy he was there when it was a concept. He was the catalyst. everything that golden boy is, is bc Richard Schafer. Oscar didn't start it and brought him. He's oscar best friend uncle by marriage. So he did enhance golden boy he made it what it is. Who was making golden boy flourish when Oscar was doing coke and have many sints in rehab. He prolly didn't know much about boxing in the beginning. Now he's undoubtedly one of the most powerful power brokers in all of boxing. With or without golden boy.

Yea some bankers are snakes. But you do know after Tito whooped Oscar ass. Oscar came to Richard with an idea. Richard was the head is USB and he was set for life. He took a chance on Oscar and everyone thought he was crazy yes he made some money. But he also took Oscar from a fighter to an almost billionaire and owner of one of the biggest boxing promotions companies in the world based on a concept and faith in his own business acumen.

i was also a Chavez fan and my hate for Oscar and that fake ass smile grew exponentially
