    never.

he's a great fighter but the only people who think he's the best ever either started watching boxing a couple years ago or DKSAB.

I came to view Floyd as The Ball-less Eunuch from Light-Welter Onward.

I know right sucker punching a guy(though he deserved it) after he apologized
displays all the sportsmanship needed in the sweet science.

          Excellent! Marvelous! Fan-****ing-tastic!

*Though this I can agree with!

Remember the ATG and why he is the ATG!
              As welterweights!

              Floyd Mayweather Jr. 11-0

              Sugar Ray Robinson 110-0

I don't think lil' Floyd is going to get there.

As for Marciano being 49-0 and undefeated the record has been in comparison to "other heavyweights" not other classes. There's been better undefeated records set other than Rocky's. I have no idea how or why lil' Floyds record should be compared to Rocky's. Then again all the hype in boxing has obscured the legitimately of the "current champions" and their records!

Probably when he robbed Castillo in the first fight and after he should have lost by DQ to Judah after his corner invaded the ring in the middle of the round to attack the opposite fighter; over a decade of careful matchmaking and cherry picking also helped. It was then that I knew the man could never lose a fight.

His career is really lacking a defining win however... beating a slow, flat-footed, drained fighter like Corrales who was dropped about 20 times throughout his career and had 6 losses by the age of 28 (including a beatdown by Clottey were he got dropped twice and nearly stopped) really doesn't do anything for me. Also, do people realize that Corrales' best wins going into the Mayweather fight were Gainer and Manfredy?

If Lara beats Alvarez in dominant fashion, perhaps a fight between him and Mayweather could be the defining moment in Mayweather's career. If Martinez looks good and destroys Cotto, a fight between him and Mayweather for the lineal Middleweight title could be the defining moment in Floyd's career (I could see it being hyped as the new Hagler v. Leonard similar to how DLH v. Hopkins was). Then again I wouldn't expect Mayweather to do either... I think we might have to settle for Khan/Collazo or someone even worse.

                    Sucker punched him.

At least fighters like Lopez and Collazo had legitimate KOs.
