Nah you should read the article yourself. It says that Ouma rejected him several times, then when they got up to leave the guy made one final move and that's when Ouma sparked him. It doesn't say anything about the guy 'attacking' Ouma at all, just a "final move". Sounds like he was just a persistent, horny ****, that's not enough for Ouma to give him permanent brain damage.
To quote South Park: "That's ****ing gay as ****".
the gay guy made a advance, or move towards ouma as he got up to leave.
what would justify the gay guy advancing or making moves in ouma's direction.
he got exactly what he deserved. next time he tries making a move he'll think twice about it.Comment

I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt. I'm just saying that it may not have seem weird to him. I'm certainly not saying that customs found in Senegal are the same in Uganda and are the same in Egypt.Comment

Forget about East Africa vs West Africa. Basically everywhere on Earth other than a few cities in the US/UK/CAN.
I mean maybe Ouma is gay like some of you are getting at.
I'm biased because as someone raised in a foreign culture I remember moving to LA/HW and having to adjust to how there was so much gay in the air, guys are afraid to even make eye contact at a business lunch. I would not have assumed "stop by for drinks" meant raunchy gay sex.Last edited by Fr3$h; 04-22-2014, 11:46 AM.Comment

Well that is what you're saying. You said you went to West Africa as if that has anything to do with Uganda. It doesn't. At all. Except same continent.Comment

Yeah man. And if they don't want to do that then they wanna rob you.Comment

Would it be simpler to just say in MOST countries when a guy invites you to his house it isn't codespeak for tie you up and do you up the ass?

i'm curious how ouma could be charged with assault when the guy attacked him.Comment

a move is an attack. do you know what the word move means? to be in motion.

The gay guy was foolish to keep trying after he was rejected, although I don't blame him considering Ouma's gay signals. But to say that he deserved to get permanently brain damaged by a professional fighting machine for misreading a closeted dude's signals is silly.Comment

That's my point.
If it was a group of people inviting a stranger back to the house to continue the party or as you did in Africa have tea, I understand.
But one on one, a stranger inviting you to their house to drink alone with you, it seems to me like a pretty standard gay advance, and Ouma should have caught on.
Like I said, either he's completely naïve, a closet ****sexual or there is something else to this story.Comment
