I was just saying that some places holding hands isn't gay; that I've been places where inviting people home is a lot more common and normal than it is here in the states. Maybe he didn't read it the same as we do. As of now - I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt.

The first time, if I wasn't with friends, who said this is normal I never would have. A couple of weeks later it was normal for me too.

I suppose this is like saying "hello" to strangers. I've gone to Austin, Tx and other places down south and people say hello. And I think "who the f**k are you and why are you talking to me." Then it becomes normal. I come back to the city say hello to someone in the elevator and they give me that "who the f**k are you look."
