S#!t like that happens sometimes. They probably was talking and everything was cool then dude invited him over and Ouma being a friendly guy accepted. For all we know the guy could have been acting like he was interested in women. I doubt Ouma is suspect because if that was/is the case then he would not have knocked dude out.
