He wasn't the Lineal Champion though that's a fact.

So despite being the best fighter he wasn't "The man who beat the man".

The Ring belt goes to the best. Joes was Ring champ. So was Joe so, there goes anything relevant you say. Well done making yourself look dumber.

        No it doesn't. Not always.

The Ring Belt and the Lineage are two different things.

You said he was the Lineal Champion, that's what you claimed. Not anyone else. You didn't say he was The Ring Champion or the best fighter in the division.

You said he was the Lineal Champion which again, he wasn't. Which also again, is a fact.

Ring/lineal champ doesn't always mean best.

          Fighters get avoided, retire, etc...

Erdei was lineal but sure as hell was not better than Joe or Roy.

Spinks was lineal/Ring champ going into the Tyson fight, but Tyson had the WBC/WBA/IBF belts and was cleaning out the division while Spinks was fighting inactive Cooney and Tangstad.

The Ring belt at LHW was basically lineal based on the theory that Jones was the best in the division and beat the second best in the division and had already easily beaten the guy who took actual lineage from DM. The fact that the actual belt was tied up by a euro bum who fought at home only means squat to anyone who knows anything about boxing. Get over it.

How can you be "Basically Lineal"? You either are or you aren't.

              And Jones wasn't.

I'm not saying he wasn't the best in the division, he was. But, he wasn't the Lineal Champion and once again that's a fact just as it's a fact that Calzaghe wasn't the Lineal Champion like you claimed.

Politics. Jones was the best. Joe beat the man who beat the man who beat him. End of story.

You become the man when you beat the man. Jones didn't do that.
