No one yet those two were way past prime. Seriously, calzaghe beat up on past prime guys and european challengers. He is really bood, but not in floyds league.

Mayweather has 10 times the resume of Calzaghe and 20 times the talent, and I say this as someone who ****ing hates Mayweather.

We need threads like this auto-deleted as soon as they get made.

Hopkins - a questionable decision - looks better with time, but Royston was so far gone it was unreal. Immediately before Joe he'd lost three in a row, two by KO... and are you really telling me that Hanshaw, Adamu, or a rusty, undersized Trinidad were serious competition to come back off?

Hopkins wasn't past prime in hindsight
            Jones was though

The thing is the big names Floyd has beaten like DLH and Mosley.... also past prime

floyd is basically the black joe calzaghe.

both fighters have never faced a legit hall of fame fighter who was in their prime.

the only reason why floyd is so much more critically acclaimed than calzaghe is the fact that he is a loud, conceited, black american whose ignorant proclamations of being so great have translated into a undeserved p4p #1 ranking.

If floyd had the same resume BUT he was a quiet japanese or swedish boxer he would have the same status as joe calzaghe.

He's only thought of so highly because he plays towards the ****** rap culture crowd.

How about the fact that Mayweather has fought 5 times the amount of Top 5 ranked opposition?
