he would be defended and critically praised by the same people.

How could he have the same record if he lived in Brooklyn when all the unranked cans he fought are from the UK?

It doesn't matter if Joe Calzaghe was from Brooklyn, Cananda, Mexico or the North Pole he'd still have only fought 3 fighters in his entire career who were ranked in the Top 5 when he fought them, once of which being the biggest hype job arguably in the history of Boxing.
