The fight is really simple because the is no chance of Lara coming forward to push Canelo back, which is something Floyd mixed in and gave him huge issues.
I keep tellin yall that Canelo may be too big, muscly, and fast for Lara. Lara's boxing style give you the impression that he is fast. He's actually very slow, while Canelo throws sharp shooter mortal combat punches. Lara is not a defensive specialist like Rigo who can step to the side, step back, leap to the other side of the ring, and slip punches from all angles. Lara is a one dimensional runner. He runs backward in a straight line, using little to NO head movement.

I dont know who will win but Lara has to be at his absolute best. He needs the conditioning to move his entire body in the amount of time it takes Canelo to throw 3 fast punches, as Floyd had. He will have to go to a new level for this one.

If not, he will appear too small and weak for Canelo. Canelo will batter this little dude around the ring and make it seem as if he(Lara) werent an actual jr md. That or Canelo was in fact a 160lber.

I know Lopez was over matched, but why he doesn't fight more like that in all his fights is beyond me.

That's weird seeing Marquez say something positive about Canelo for once.

dude just said if lara stays in the pocket for too long or exchanges with canelo he's going to get KO'd, which is actually kinda true.

i expect lara to pot shot to a victory tho

Canelo did managed to trapped Floyd against the ropes a few times, but he just couldn't consistently hit Floyd because Floyd can turn, slip, roll, and block punches really well. On the other hand, Lara is more of a mover and if you manage to trap him against the ropes, you can catch him with clean punches because he's not as defensively skilled as Floyd when he gets trap against the ropes.

The most annoying comparison re this fight: "Canelo can't cut off the ring as good as angulo. Angulo's an ATG pressure fighter."

Since when was Angulo an ATG pressure fighter? His pressure, technique, and relentlessness are vastly overrated. Sure, Canelo isn't as good as Angulo at pressure, but let's not overrate Angulo's skills because he was able to knock down Lara twice.

Lara is not floyd either, he can't fight on the inside or shoulder roll. He's a more conventional counter puncher who moves around the ring.

I don't think any of the comparisons work all that well; it's all speculation.

To be fair to Lara, Floyd tends to go back to the ropes almost by choice because he knows the other dude's eyes are going to light up when they finally get him there and they will start to get gutsy (as opposed to staying disciplined when Floyd has space), then when they can't do anything to him on the ropes which is their goal he essentially has their soul in his hands.

Lara will 100% be trying to avoid that situation, but it is a ring and cutting off the ring is not an extra hard concept to get.

The last person Canelo knocked out was an over the hill Baldomir, he couldn't even KO a flyweight in Solis. He wouldn't be able to land a clean enough shot to hurt Lara, let alone put his lights out.
