Finally, Ortiz isn't a REAL southpaw. His left hand is his weak hand!
Lol Ortiz was not "running away", he was trying to fight an ambush fight style. Ortiz would try and stay on the outside where floyd can't tag him, and every once in a while he would explode and rush in to try and hurt floyd or score points with fast combinations.

And it was working, because he rattled floyd a few times, something a fighter his level shouldn't be able to do. Ortizs eye was a bit swollen but it was nowhere close to closing, he looked fine to me. Let me guess floyd says ortizs eye was closing so you believe it right?

Even if ortiz isn't a true southpaw, fact is he fights in a southpaw stance which makes Floyd's shoulder roll far less effective. Floyd relies too much on the right hand against guys who fight southpaw.

Berto was being sh$tted prior to that because he had a very average resume and people were complaining that he needs to pick it up and fight someone relevant.

History has proved that if you have a decent punch, you can give Berto lots of problems because he has NO DEFENSE!!!

After all these fights, can't people see right thru the formula used by Floyd to pick fighters?

They are all hyped up but most did little of significance beforehand at the division they fought Floyd.

I can't believe people still tell themselves that Ortiz was having success. Ortiz was getting the **** kicked out of him. He was probably going to get stopped even without Floyd sucker punching him. At no point was that fight getting exciting or getting competitive, and Ortiz has no case for winning any of the rounds.

Disagree with that, he never looked troubled by Floyd even though he was clearly losing. He appeared to have size on his side, I think he weighed in at 164lbs on fight night. Kept a tight guard, the 4th round was his best. Shame things turned out the way they did because it was heating up.

                  smdh......

you know your highlight reel is lacking when a sucker punch is one of your better highlight reels.

                  sad.

because he was. he was landing and going crazy aggressive on floyd. that's the style that is needed to beat someone like floyd.

if canelo had employed that game plan minus the ****** illegal dumb things that ortiz did, canelo would have crushed floyd. Canelo tried to outbox a master boxer despite having the size, power, and weight advantage.

i saw the fight at a strip club and a fight nearly broke out when they ruled the fight over after the sucker punch.

it was heating up until the sucker punch. ortiz was landing on floyd.

Ortiz broke down mentally in the 4th round. The 4th freaking round. Mayweather was landing combos on him, and he never throws combos anymore.

                      He was done.
