Considering Floyd sucker punched Ortiz, Floyd's win is clearly inferior to above listed,. I rate Floyd's win 2/10. Your thoughts?
i think you are a biased moron looking for excuses to criticize floyd. was it a great or even good win, hell no. but 2/10? thats just ******.

floyd didnt sucker punch him either, its protect yourself at all times. if vic is too ****** to comprehend that its on him, ref told them to fight too. most amateurish **** i ever seen in a world title fight.

Keep fight dirty meaning dont do anything obviously ******. Ortiz has used his head multiple times during that fight without the ref saying anything. After the headbutt, he should have just continue to try to rough Floyd up. He dam sure wasnt going to outbox floyd.

If by 'ortiz was just warming up' you actually mean Ortiz was getting desperate because he was getting schooled, then I agree.

Maidana beat the b1tch out of Ortiz, and mayweather was schooling Ortiz. Different fighters, different skills, nothing to conclude. But cool story bro.

at floyd struggling with the tree.

The only success Ortiz was having was landing the occassional punch and floyd going to the ropes and making him miss the rest of his punches.

Oh, but the crowd & Lampley were going nuts, so he was actually landing.

Victor has no heart, mentally fragile and the sucker punch was weak so it doesn't rank up there with Floyd's best wins.

Yes, he did try to use his head multiple times before that. But one thing you are missing is that the referee also warned Ortiz about his head once. And then after the intentional headbutt, the referee would have been watching Ortiz more like a hawk. So trying to be dirty afterwards, not such a good idea.

The worst thing he did was the blatant headbutt. Once you do that, you make it hard for yourself to play the dirty, or rough someone up game. Ref will be all over you.

Many of the people here simply don't look at the facts and insist that Mayweather was in complete control of the Ortiz fght, but he was not.

The ortiz fight was Floyd's worst performance ever. Every time ortiz bull rushed he would tag mayweather with powerful right hooks, of course mayweather was able to block most of the shots but the few that gets through would hurt him. Mayweather was tagging ortiz with right hands, yes, but they weren't significantly hurting ortiz or slowing his flurries down.

The fight shows that mayweather isn't as good against southpaws at all. Yes I realize floyd was winning the fight on points ,BUT Compare the ortiz fight to the canelo fight, mayweather was perfect against an orthodox fghting like canelo but an explosive southpaw like ortiz who is nowhere as good was giving him fits. Canelo landed 1 or 2 clean punches in the whole fight, while ortiz landed at least 5 clean punches by my count in less than 4 rounds and bullied him on the ropes. The facts are undeniable.

I know Floyd won, but my point is ortiz shouldn't have even been able to touch him considering the supposedly big skill gap between them, yet somehow ortiz was hurting floyd and taking him off his game.

Then was why Ortiz backing up and running away? Even Roger Mayweather was telling Floyd in the corner 'the mother****er is scared!' And how you can say Floyd's punches weren't hurting him when Ortiz's goddamn eye was closing/swelling?

Finally, Ortiz isn't a REAL southpaw. His left hand is his weak hand!
