      Why not????

Right so in one year, it changed from 50/50 to 100/0.

        Seems legit.

Floyd offered him a guarantee of $40,000,000 and later said it wasn't enough-even though they never discussed the back-end (ppv split, attendance, etc).

In all truth and fact, Manny walked away from 2 of the biggest paydays that were offered to him-no amount of money will get him to fight Floyd-how much and what exactly will it take to get him to agree??????
Notice how Floyd isn't even responding to Bob's and Manny's media shenanigans? He's letting them talk the media to death about wanting a fight.

Honestly-Pac would be a fool to not take $40,000,000 and ask for a slice of the ppv. There is no way in hell he even makes $40,000,000 even WITH ppv fighting anyone else.

I think the only way these guys take the fight is with their LAST fight, once they have made all they can.

The problem is, Manny's stock has been taking hits and his popularity has faded...he couldn't even sell out the mgm when he was fighting in front of bigger crowds at Cowboy stadium a few years before. It puts his fan's faith in perspective. Most of the casual fans have lost the enthusiasm for him when he was taking b.s. gimmick fights and eventually got sparked clean out.

So Mayweather wanted Pacquiao to fight for $0 dollars. I agree that's unreasonable.

Except that isn't what happened at all, and is just something you made up.

Over the past two years, there's been a lot of uncertainty amongst fans and media alike regarding the events surrounding the negotiations for the mega-fight between pound-for-pound champions Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao. In an effort to clear up the confusion, FightHype.com has put together an in-depth timeline detailing every major milestone that took place. From the moment that Floyd Mayweather came out of retirement to the minute that Manny Pacquiao's promoter Bob Arum declared the fight to be off, all of the major events that dominated the headlines are included. Only the facts are included in this definitive timeline. Links to mulitple outside references have been included for each date, so fans can draw their own conclusions as to what went wrong at each step of the way.

He wanted him to take $0 of the PPV revenue. Yes. Yet he apparently offered him half the first time.

                  Very believable stuff.

Can you show a link where he says that? I've seen him say otherwise.

These people are crazy. It's like they forgot the history and chose to curse the man who was willing to make the fight, yet praise the guy who walked away from it!!!!
The facts are there-2 times there were official offers, and 2 times Manny ran away!
