Was a shady deal overall! But I've got a su****ion that had pacq said OK I'll take it! Floyd would have demanded something else to break the deal.

So getting an offer that was more than twice the amount you have ever made was "shady"???? Hell, why didn't Arum try to make Floyd an offer of twice the amount he has made????

We can all get OPINIONS into this, but lets stick to the FACTS of the history.

He offered him a 40 million flat fee. What is this thread about? Oh but I'm sure you're going to tell me what he really meant

In reality there are big problems with making this fight happen...

1-getting Pac to agree to his realistic current worth. If they eventually agree to fight for each other's last fight, Pac is going to have to realise that his stock has went down considerably. He will probably not even be worth 35-65 in another few years. He is used to being the A-side and would probably end up not taking the fight over wanting more than what he has actually told the public.

2-Who will promote this event when TR and GB refuse to work with one another? I also doubt Floyd would trust any event that would be exclusive to TR.

3-location-what happened to that stadium Bob had planned?

There is a clear interview with Mayweather saying that Pac refused the $40,000,000 guarantee and Pac didn't even want to talk about the back end.

Mayweather didn't say $40 million and thats it...they didn't even get to talk about the back end because Manny said he wanted 50-50 or no deal!!!

No, just what he said. Which has already been posted several times.

Exactly. Mayweather said they never got a chance to discuss back end money because Pacquiao wasn't interested.

Here is a video of Ariza confirming he was with Manny when Floyd called him. Ariza even confirms that Floyd says he is a business man and that he starts negotiations low and waits for a counter offer, and that Manny walked away from it without being interested in making ANY offer.

Hell, $40,000,000 couldn't keep Manny on the phone for more than 5 seconds with Floyd, imagine how much it would take to get him in the ring with him!
