Marcos Maidana is no stranger to big fights but the biggest one of his career is on the horizon as he will be facing the number fighter in the world when he meets Floyd Mayweather is just a few weeks. Maidana has been hard at work with trainer Robert Garcia and new strength and conditioning coach Alex Ariza as he knows he must prepare to the best of his abilities to give himself the best chance to be victorious.
Maidana, like all Mayweather opponents, is an underdog going into his fight. Despite beating the odds last December by defeating then undefeated champion Adrien Broner, the task of defeating Mayweather is a much more difficult one. [Click Here To Read More]Comment

Maidana doesn't gas.
Do you know anything about him. ?Comment

If Khan can beat him what more Floyd?
People got fooled easily by the Broner fight. Broner's slow, he's like Margarito with defense. But same straight lines.
Time to boycott this fight. Will really be interesting what Floyd, GBP, and Showtime's reaction will be once it only sells 100k PPVs.Comment

I think the notion that Maidana gasses comes from 2 things:
1) The Devon fight and how frustrated he got.
2) The fact that he KOed a lot of his early opponents in the first couple of rounds. Somehow his early opposition not being able to hang in there with him got translated into he doesn't have power late and that got translated into he gasses. For that to work you need to ignore all of the people he's hurt, knocked down, and KOed after the 6th, but that's apparently where we are.Comment
