He's my favorite fighter, but screw that.
I can't see how it's possible to have Ward that high.

Yeah, he did a lot of good work between 09-11 but we're almost half way though 2014.

Pacquaio didn't look good to me on Saturday but his performance is more than enough to have him ahead of Ward.

It's hard for me to rank Ward P4P at all in all honesty.

Good fighter yes but what, should he keep his P4P spot forever on what he did 3 years ago? Surely you need to keep beating top level guys to maintain a P4P spot.

Its always seemed to me that Ward has been #2 by default. His skills are unquestionable, and he cleaned out his division. But as many are pointing out:

"What have you done for me lately, Eddie!?"

I was sooo close to dropping Ward to 5th, below both Pac and Bradley but I'd kept him up, he deserves another 6 months to get a good fight scheduled, if not, then he should be dropped down.

He struggled worse against Bika than Pac vs p4p Bradley. He's in his 1st division without a clear cut p4p win. What's his 3rd best career win, Abraham coming off back to back exposures?

Not sure whether or not Manny is #2 or whatever, but he's most definitely higher than Ward.

Ward beat Froch in 2011 - and since has beaten no one at SMW that mattered. In fact, he's only had two measly fights since then - he shouldn't be on anyone's P4P list. Injured or not.

No he didn't, I scored that fight 9-3 Ward. Again your ignoring the fact that I said "in addition to", this ain't all resume and I don't see how any of this relates to the level Ward is performing at in the ring.

Consistently inactive. 2 fights in 3 years shouldn't be enough to hold a P4P spot, let alone #2.

All the other candidates are either inconsistent themselves, wins - loses or not even performing close to that level. I don't see how one could debate Ward at 2 with all the other candidates

lol yall act like manny is any more active than ward. in the last 3 years, Ward is 3-0 against froch, dawson, rodriquez, while manny is 2-2. so because pac fought 1 measly extra fight within that span and losses 2 times, he deserves the 2 spot? smh

Manny can be placed anywhere from 2-5. Unfortunately for Ward, he's losing his spot due to inactivity, not in-ring performance.
