At first the hater's accuse Canelo of "ducking" Lara (he's afraid of Lara BUT fought Floyd? LOL) and make the bold proclamation that "he'll never fight Lara".
Then once the fight get's made they think a 1lb or 2lb difference is somehow a MASSIVE advantage and gives Canelo the clear edge not knowing that both guys on fight night will weigh about the same, high 160's low 170's.

he's a middleweight now. this is an odd move for goldenboy, to be honest. they're in a tough spot. alvarez won't be a great middleweight.

Nice try. If it does outsell the Angulo fight, it won be Lara's "fans" that will put it over. It will be hardcore fight fans that passed on Angulo because we knew it wasn't a competitive match-up.

Very similar to Garcia vs. Matthysse too. Everyone was like Garcia is ducking Matthysse, he's scared, he won't dare step in the ring. Then when the fight got made, they all backtracked and said Danny's gonna get executed. Then after the fight, there were more excuses. Lucas lost cause of a miracle eye swell.Last edited by radioraheem; 04-14-2014, 02:06 PM.

Lara should just be thankful that he gets to fight in front of such a large audience. He needs to make the most of this opportunity.
