OK so maybe 4 out of 5 fights. Not sure about 5 in a row.

Why? I don't see Angulo or Trout being all that much better.

Hernandez was a solid and consistent Top 5-10 Jr Lightweight for a bulk of the 00's. As high as #3 when he was Champion.

Only really lost to top fighters before he started fading and gave Morales tough losing effort aswell.

you really think that lara is going to bring in fans? it's canelo,,even if canelo didn't fight lara i'm sure his next fight would have done better than with Angulo,he's just going to be getting more popular if he keeps on winning,so yeah lara is a nobody,if lara fought cotto cotto would be the one bringing in the fans not lara,people want to see cotto or canelo,,but lara? please

You're right. Lara has no fans. And you're also probably one of those guys who says Canelo was responsible for at least 1m of the buys vs Floyd. Lol

This thread is eerily similar to the "Mayweather is ducking Canelo" and "Mayweather vs. Canelo Confirmed" threads from last year.

At first the hater's accuse Canelo of "ducking" Lara (he's afraid of Lara BUT fought Floyd? LOL) and make the bold proclamation that "he'll never fight Lara".

Then once the fight get's made they think a 1lb or 2lb difference is somehow a MASSIVE advantage and gives Canelo the clear edge not knowing that both guys on fight night will weigh about the same, high 160's low 170's.

I think that is a very generous view of his career but all good.
