You serious? Why the hell not?

Unless you have forgotten, which is not unlikely at all given NSB and the typical bandwagon jumping to and fro, general selective memory and bias, Marquez lost a very close fight to one of the best young champions in the game today going for his 5th divisional title after coming off what is undoubtedly the greatest win of the last decade, at the very least (and one of the great wins in boxing history).

Martinez is coming off an atrocious performance against an unheralded contender of little note, in which he was dropped more than once, and outboxed for much of the fight and was lucky to have fought it in his hometown, because that's the only place he was ever going to be given the decision in. The reality was that he lost that fight worse than Marquez lost his, but the opposition level was much greater for Marquez and their previous wins are no comparison either. Martinez had a good win over a solid contender/faux titlist, in which he was also nearly stopped in the final round.

So, once again, why the hell would you laugh at the idea of Marquez being rated over Martinez?

You seem to take popularity over skills as a determining factor for ranking P4P, which is your perogative but is not the true concept behind it.

Bernard never been planking I can tell you that and Pacquiao need to learn a thing or three from Niccolino. However you guys are having butterflies for fighters instead of a discerning eye for skill.
Yes, and if Bernard beats Stevenson, he will jump straight back into the top ten rankings, if not top five.

        Why?

        Stevenson is not that good.

Top 10 I can see but Top 5? Can't see that.

Because that's what people do. I'm not arguing for or against, I'm just saying that's what happens. Wins get overrated sometimes, and wins gets underrated sometimes. I don't think Stevenson is any good, but that's not my point.

These guys are saying Hopkins isn't in the list despite what he's done, yet if he beat Stevenson, I have no doubt he'll be back in it again.

Ok but I very much doubt he goes into the Top 5 for beating Stevenson nor should he.

Trust me he didn't look great last night he was just ok and pretty lucky with the dumb **** Bradley was doing who I lost a lot of respect for.. Pacquiao always get this special treatment and it quite annoying.
Who the f_ck are you that anyone should trust? You think you're the only one here with HD? He whooped the #3 p4p, obviously with his history he's going to be ranked near the top.

So Bernard unifying three titles at light heavy making history will not be top 5 but someone that got knocked smoothed out and fought a damaged good is top 2?

Well Marquez is miles better than anyone Hopkins has fought in recent years.

Unifying 3 titles looks nice on paper and is of course a good achievement no doubt but he'll have beaten Cloud, Shumenov and Stevenson which let's face it is not that impressive, not on the P4P scale anyway. LHW is a poor division.

Obviously it's impressive but hardly Top 5 P4P calibur.

I know top 3 boring to NSB but the skill cannot be denied.
