If boxing is about doing damage, Clottey should've won the Pacquaio fight?

Whether it's considered or not is another question.
It's not a scoring criteria.
The scoring criteria as I'm sure you know are; Clean Punching, Ring Generalship, Affective Aggression and Defense.Comment

That's not what I said.
Damage is not a scoring criteria.
Obviously the fighter with the most damage is usually likely to be the loser of the fight but again, it's not a part of the scoring criteria.Comment

some ppl just bruise up or cut easier. I've seen some guys look all bruised to the body (see Ruiz vs Toney), but it's less common than seeing their faces busted up.
Clottey is a skilled fighter, but something is wrong with him mentally. He choked again his fights with baldo, plasterito, and Cotto, and seemed to freeze up under the spotlight against Pac. and also he goes into a defensive shell.
It's about winning rounds. Pacquiao won many more than Clottey.Comment

Hey, never took credit away Cotto. Showed true heart. I'm only speaking from what the final result was. Cotto technically won, but a lot of people thought Clottey won.Comment

Well guess what, it's not about doing damage and it never will be. It's about landing the most punches and the best punches. Pacquiao threw and landed about 5 times as many punches and he clearly won every round by a mile. Are you really so ****** and screwed up that you think Clottey should win a fight in which Pacquiao made Clottey his personal punching bag? Clottey never complained about the loss. Clottey actually has a brain and can think logically.Comment
