So then if Bradley turned down Khan to pursue one of those fights how is it ducking? The course of action he took actually got him 2 out of those 3 opponents.

    You're admitting it yourself.

      That's a duck you buffoon.

It doesn't justify turning down Khan that he eventually got those fights. He could have got those fights with a victory over Khan too. They're not mutually exclusive.

Obviously the guy didn't think he could take Khan first. That's a duck.

It's so rare that a fighter doesn't fight for someone for reasons that aren't financially motivated. It's almost always about money and prestige. It's why I believe "ducks" in boxing at that level are rare. And kind of a childish way to look at things.

How is it a duck if you are going on to fight a better, more dangerous fighter? For more money?

Because there was absolutely zero guarantee he was going to get the Pacquiao fight, and if not for other fights falling through, Bradley wouldn't have gotten that fight. For all we know, if Cotto and Pacquiao fight a rematch, Bradley never gets a Pacquiao fight.

Just because the duck worked out successfully doesn't make it any less a duck.

              Casamayor is not that.

This idea that Bradley is allowed to face Casamayor's of this world as long as he is "pursuing" a Pacquaio fight is absolutely hilarious and an example of New Age Ducking that is now justified by people like you.

Same with Stevenson being allowed to fight Forfana as long as he's "pursuing" a Hopkins fight.

"Oh well Showtime wanted to pay more for Fornfana than HBO".

B1tch, why the *** are you fighting Forfana AT ALL?!?!

According to who? Where do people get this from? It was his whole purpose for going there. Call me crazy but I'm pretty sure that was a heavy topic of conversation during negotiation.

Of course, one thing Timothy Bradley's signature on a Top Rank promotional contract means to boxing is the potential for a showdown with Manny Pacquiao. Arum addresses this fight's potential.

"Obviously, then, that would be our goal to build him. To build his name recognition so that we could make a fight happen between Tim Bradley and Manny Pacquiao."

If all goes right, Arum believes a Bradley-Pacquiao fight could happen in November of this year or early 2012, but heavy promotion would have to be done to build Bradley's name.

The fact that we know others were offered the fight first.

No,,with all the build up HBO had for Kovalev/Stevenson they both would have made huge paydays in a unification bout...

Bradley made 7 times the amount against pac than he would have made with Khan..

Nothing wrong with a boxer going with the money and more dangerous opponent imo...

Anybody that actually thinks Bradley would be scared of Khan and then step up too Manny must be totally ******ed.
