Tim Bradley DID NOT duck Khan.

What facts? So what is that suppose to mean? So what if he has called out Pacquiao before, Khan has done the same with Mayweather prior to this year. The facts are that there was an unofficial tournament going on where winners of Bradley-Alexander and Khan-Maidana would crown a Lineal 140lbs champion, so it was a fight public demanded and 140lbs was hot at the time, but Bradley decided to jump ship or should i say DUCKED.
It was after Bradley quacked out of the then career high Khan offer of $1.4 million is when Khan decided to take a tune up instead. We move on,Bradley had beat Abregu and Alexander had beat Kotelnik..Khan had beat Paulie M..After the fight(since we like to bring up the what if I lose comment)Khan clearly say's..I'll fight Maidana Bradley and Alexander can fight, then the winners will fight each other..He then turns around and fights Mccloskey..Where he came in from??Oh that's right, that fight came with a 3 fight deal..Meanwhile they expected Bradley to take a Khan fight with no insurances while Khan just got a 3 fight deal..
Why did Bradley fight a shot Casamayor who was barely a shadow of his former self after ducking Khan? At least Mccloskey was an undefeated prospect at the time and young its another thing he turned out to be a bum, but at the time who would have known? Its like not giving Ortiz credit for Berto.
Which all still doesnt change jack about the fact when both Khan and Bradley were an inevitable match at 140lbs it was Bradley who quacked out. It's clear that TR offered Bradley more then one fight..While Shaw and GBP did not..It's clear he was on the top of the list(being Cotto said he would not fight Pac again, and Pac did not wanna fight Marquez again)to fight Pac..It's clear Bob had showed interest in Bradley before signing him and said as much..
You are clearly unsure about what is a duck because what Bradley did isnt a duck then please do tell us what is? I hope your example isn't Stevenson-Kovalev cuz that will really debunk your own argument of "Business move".It's clearly not a duck, and why no mention of Khan fighting Mccloskey instead of doing what he said he'd do??Oh and the suppose Mayweather fight,if Khan could have fought Mayweather what happened??Why did that fight not go down yet??Oh that's right the set backs..Losing to Peterson(who Bradley dominated btw)and getting his lights turned out by Garcia..Two fighters everyone and their mothers said was not even in Khans class(some of those same posters I see in this thread funny)..
Peterson was on PEDs, but hey thats all good right. Plus how does Khan's losses to Garcia and Peterson change the fact Bradley ducked Khan? Its so sad you had to resort to a triangle theories: "Oh Bradley beat Peterson who beat Khan". With that logic Khan beat Kotelnik who beat Alexander.
Stevenson signed with SHOWTIME because he gets more money and has a safer career that way because he can avoid Kovalev, so lets not call that a duck either and lets deal with it.Bradley made a very good busniess decision for himself..Deal with it..Also deal with the fact,Khan fighting Mccloskey open the door for Bradley to not have to fight him..If he'd just went right to the fight with Bradley, and then Bradley ducked him fine..I would agree..To expect Bradley to sign a extension and go into the unknown not knowing, while Khan had a three fight deal(worth close to 4 mill)is not fair and very short sighted..Just thought I'd add my 2 cents..
p.s I want Stevenson to win his fights because he is Canadian, but he ducked Kovalev
Oh the fact that Bradley ducked Khan and you are backing it up with hollow arguments about business move this and diverting the discussion with Khan's losses to peterson and garcia and the triangle theory of bradley beat peterson who beat Khan.
Khan ducked Alexander, but Bradley didnt? Brilliant.

I'm not a Bradley fan. If you look at my bets I'm actually hoping to win a lot of points off of his fans tomorrow night.
But I do have to call it like I see it.
Tim was trying to secure a fight against a more dangerous fighter than Khan. For a much bigger payday than Khan. That is not ducking in my book.Comment

Of course it's not. As long as you're "trying to secure" a potential fight at some distant point in the future, you can't be accused of ducking.I'm not a Bradley fan. If you look at my bets I'm actually hoping to win a lot of points off of his fans tomorrow night.

Tim took concrete steps to get the fight. It's not like he was just giving lip service or magically wishing for it to happen.Comment

Yeah. His concrete steps involved ducking Khan, sitting out his contract, ducking Khan again, fighting Casamayor and the luckily getting the Pacquiao fight 1 year later.Comment
