These guys are looking for anything to defend him. It's crazy. He's a cheater.

            lotion contains ingredients for plaster.

This thread was more supposed to be about HBO's shameful one sided coverage than anything. They along with Oscar/GBP hated the fact that Margarito won that Cotto fight. It upset the applecart.

Why do they never mention any of Margarito's other opponents? It's always just Cotto. Poor Cotto. A prime Margarito is a stylistic nightmare for Cotto, the fight went exactly as a lot of people thought it would. Cotto has no defence and doesn't know how to clinch. He gasses late in fights and doesn't have a great chin. All these things were evident yet people somehow thinks its impossible for Margarito to have won legitimately.

People were looking for excuses as to why Cotto lost from the very next day. Do we not remember the accusations of Margarito being on steroids? I wonder where they came from. Then he came back completely clean.

Makes a strong argument for his guilt when he suddenly quit winning after being caught cheating.

Actually a very weak argument. He faced Shane Mosley and Manny Pacquaio. Pretty disrespectful to those fighters to suggest that Margarito should automatically be winning those fights.

Pacquaio was clearly hurt in the Margarito fight and admitted afterwards that he was.

It was taken just before the rematch with Miguel Cotto:

Max Kellerman is a complete doofus. Talking about the supposed "tear" in Margarito's handwraps after the Cotto fight which was unequivocally proven to be nothing more than black thread.

Jim Lampley is an utterly shameless Cotto ****-suck who has been close to tears every time Cotto has lost and even when he won. Who could ever forget him getting butthurt when Emmanuel Steward suggested that Clottey was winning against Cotto?

Speaking of Steward (RIP and everything), he comes across worst in this video. I remember Frank Maloney describing him as a "mercenary whore" and that is pretty accurate. The guy was a complete sycophant. Notice how he talks about how the manner of Margarito's win over Cotto is very plausible and legitimate but then he raises his voice to say "I believe he DID use loaded wraps" based on nothing and just to suck up the the pro-Puerto Rican crowd.

The kicker for me is right at the end where one guy was making salient points and asking legitimate questions regarding the first Margarito-Cotto fight. Lampley tries his best to shut him up. Then Steward acts like he's going to answer but completely changes the subject to the Mosley fight to try to rouse the crowd into drowning out the guy. He also ignores the fact that he trained Kermit Cintron to face Margarito twice and would have watched Margarito getting his hands wrapped himself.

Steward himself did an interview with Thomas Hauser where he said he could quite easily make an illegal pad and insert it into a fighter's wraps without them knowing. I guess he forgot about that as soon as he was given an HBO microphone.

                    HBO agenda in full flow.
The networks protect the big money fighters. Showtime cut out any mention of robert garcias dad mentioning Mayweather was a wife beater in the ppv and hbo treated margarito as some sort of a super villain in the build up of cotto margarito 2. I cannot stand Jim "**** ****" Lampley who seems to be told what his opinion on a fighter is going to be before a broadcast. Showtime usually does a multiple part special about a big fight followed by an epilogue after the fight. However for the Broner maidana fight , a fight in which broner was the a side there was no epilogue, it seems showtime wanted the casual to forget anything that happened that night.

When he was caught, they wouldn't have suspended him if the evidence was not clear cut.
