Lara wants the fight for money. As a fan I dont give a f-ck about Lara's accounting. I want to see fights that aren't ridiculous like the Texas Trout fight.

What was ridiculous about that fight? Because it was close? Because it wasn't a total domination job? I don't understand what has you so upset. Believe it or not fights can be close without it being declared a robbery.

Sounds to me like nobody has any faith in Lara. Now Canelo is going to cheat him and beat him, or pull a rabibit out of his ass. People are crying for Lara like he already lost. Now I'm wondering, what about Lara? He's no saint, he laces, spins and runs like a greyhound. Why is nobody complaining about that?

You are right. All the crying before was because Saul was "ducking" Lara and now that Canelo's team pushes for the fight all of the sudden the same haters come here to claim there is a plot behind it. There is even people saying the fight score is already fixed (decision favoring Saul) forgetting that some said Lara was going to massacre Alvarez in few rounds, etc. By the way, I applaud Saul decision of fighting disregarding the "regular" title because Floyd is indeed the real champion (while Lara won a simple interim of the already secondary "regular" one).

I'm really glad someone high profile has done this. This greed for sanctioning fees with fake world titles has destroyed the credibility of the WBA. How can you possibly have two world champions in the same governing body?

Yes, it is maybe time to stop all of this non sense bs titles. WBA sanctions "super" champion, "regular" champion and "interim" champion collecting fees when in reality there is no need for it. One champion per division would be more than enough but I guess it is not for the WBA greed.

yup............i expect canelo to weigh-in at 158 and not tell lara's camp until day of weigh-in...so lara has to struggle down to make 154 while canelo secretly comes in as a middleweight...

so on fight night he'll come in at 180+ lbs ...while lara will come in at around 160-170

..same strategy that salido did against lomachenko.....

can you at least wait until the weight in before making accusations?

Yeah it's an excuse you got me. Everyone knows that Lara will get a fair shake on the judges scorecards. I mean this is boxing. It will be a fair fight with Lara getting the benefit of the doubt.
