I still don't understand why there aren't more sanctioning bodies. If two guys want to fight for a title, just come up with a new name like "World Boxing International" (WBI) and have a belt made.

With that in mind, if anybody wants to be champ of the world, you can fight for the WBI title. Sanctioning fees are 50 bucks and a case of beer.

Get back to me soon because there are only 15 different weights classes. Hell, you could be champ by next week.

Sounds to me like nobody has any faith in Lara. Now Canelo is going to cheat him and beat him, or pull a rabibit out of his ass. People are crying for Lara like he already lost. Now I'm wondering, what about Lara? He's no saint, he laces, spins and runs like a greyhound. Why is nobody complaining about that?

No his Cardio isn't great, and there's two sides to footwork. You can have good footwork even if you don't bounce around and move too much because the main factor for a guy like Canelo is always being set to punch or be in position to switch from defense to offense or vice versa and that all comes from footwork so yeah his footwork is good for his style.

And you guys seem to be missing more important factors like ring IQ, reflexes, timing and counter punching. He rolls shots to take the steam off of them great, he throws counter punches you normally wouldn't see, he changes levels with his combinations perfectly, he has the ability to rest 2 minutes of a round and come back to win it by making the guy miss and landing the cleaner heavier shots...Canelo is still young and getting better but for anyone to see all he has is combos and power is ridiculous

Canelo dropped Trout and then got outboxed the rest of the round. And Trout isnt even that good. Canelo is a hype job plain and simple.

If you bothered to read the other stories, part of the negotiations that Schaffer is trying to do is to cancel the Lara/Smith fight so Lara has ample time to train for a fight with Canelo in July.

So move on to your next excuse.
