Why was it ok to fight for a vacant belt against Matthew Hatton who hasn't fought above WW but he doesn't want to fight a JMW for a title?

No I actually read that in one of the threads. Apparently Canelo will come in close to 160 at the weigh in and rehydrate up to 180+ While Lara will be dehydrated making weight and apparently only he will have a rehydration clause

Canelo just came in overweight last fight. Some people go overboard but let's not ignore what he has done before.

It could be he doesnt want to pay a fee for a belt when he wont be the real champion. Hatton was to be the real champion.

Doesnt matter though cause this is the fight ALL wanted and said Canelo would duck. But now that Canelo is calling him out i see a change in the tide. Excuses being dropped.

The catchweight for Alvarez vs Hatton is irrelevant. If Mayweather really is the best at 154, why wouldn't he fight Alvarez at 154 and prove it?

I'm not making any excuses ; I'm simply bringing to light the things Canelo has done in the past and the current contradictions.

I expect Lara to outbox and frustrate Canelo.
