    No he didn't.
What he said was that he isn't interested in Lara's WBA "regular" belt, because Floyd holds the "super" belt, which he took from Canelo in a catchweight fight, at 152.
Who is the best at 154 has not been proved by Floyd or anybody else.

Well hopefully he does withdraw from the Ishe Smith fight. Lara vs Smith sounds like a terrible fight to me.

gbp knows if the fight with ishe is signed they can't breach the contract without getting in trouble, if they really want the fight they should pay some step aside money to ishe and not ask Lara to withdraw just like that, they should know better because they are Laras promoter so either this is a promotional stunt or they are not negotiating in good faith, why they didn't offer the fight before they gave him ishe, why all these crap if you know he is booked to fight another fighter? I say is BS...

Floyd never took a 'super' belt from Canelo. It's just some BS. He already had the main 154 belt after beating Cotto. It was Trout that had the 'regular' belt, and then lost it to Canelo. That's also the main reason Cotto fought Trout in the first place. So Canelo had the 'regular' belt.

But when he lost to Floyd, instead of Floyd being allowed to keep BOTH belts, or allowing for Canelo to KEEP the regular belt, they give it to Lara after he beat Trout. Does that make any sense? Cause if it does not, that is exactly the point.

That's REALLY why Canelo has no interest in Lara's belt. Because really, how are they going to take his belt away and then give it to Lara? When Lara didn't earn it by beating Canelo? It's kind of insulting to Canelo.

I don't think it's BS, but if it is, we'll find out soon. Lara is not one to stay quiet.

It should be painfully obvious that they'll buyout Ishe's contract. And you are acting like Canelo vs. Angulo happened last year. It just happened a few weeks ago! By that time, Lara vs. Smith was already set.

Lara is a very humbled kid, most of the bs you had read about he saying this and that had been his ppl, you could see how shy he was when he confronted ginger at pc, his manager is a big mouth on the take and I'm curious how is he going to react to this

So gbp offered the fight with ishe and now they changing their tune? and is not painfully obvious that they will buy anything if this is a promotional stunt, Lara-ishe was officially anounced March 25 two weeks after Lara confront him at the press conference.

I don't get why he'll have to pull out of the Smith fight.
