I dunno...like I said, GGG should win, then again...
Sergio Martinez was exhausted from spending 11 rounds beating the hell out of a man 20 pounds bigger. That had much more to do with that 12th round than Chavez's power.

He doesn't have immense power even with the size advantage. He's a wear you down type of puncher.

I can't see Golovkin losing...but getting the stoppage on Jr who has to date never really even been wobbled and I expect to have 15 - 20 Lbs on fight night?

I ain't gonna count on the TKO - merciless bodywork early rounds might break Jr down eventually (assuming the tubby one comes prepared - though if he doesn't the fight's gonna be nixed anyway) but I'm actually expecting this one to go the distance or late rounds (10-12).

Golovkin is actually really cautious going in for the kill and he knows he's gonna have a LHW swinging at him...Golovkin wins, but a KO or TKO will impress hell outta me.

GGG isn't much bigger if at all bigger then Martinez. Chavez needs to impose his will and back GGG up the entire fight to have a chance.

I wouldn't be shocked if Chavez breaks Golovkin's face down for the TKO

You guys think Golovkin can beat Chavez boxing off the backfoot?

Like some of the other posters in this thread, I think if Jr get's stopped at all, it'll be on cuts or maybe a body shot and late.

What if it goes the other way?

Who are the big punchers on GGG's resume? He gets hit some as well.

GGG should get it done. He has the amateur pedigree and has been looking scary beating up the guys that will fight him, but I dunno'...

                  I smell an upset...
Based on what I've seen, GGG doesn't take punches too well. I mean HE takes them pretty well but his face looks like it is prone to bruising and swelling.

Facial damage is probably more of a concern for Golovkin when it comes to opponents' punches than actually being hurt. I could actually imagine a scenario where Golovkin's face gets shredded by an accumulation of hard punches, but Golovkin is never really hurt. Of course, it would take a highly skilled boxer with terrific speed and at least decent power to do that.

i'm close to thinking 3g gets a late tko.
jr does have a very decent chin that i would think will be hit more often then ever before.
but the bigger jr. could fight ugly. hugging and kissing. grappleing.
be interesting to see what the sportbooks offer. i mean 3G will be favored but how big? and win by tko or ud?
golovkin is an inteligent guy. jr is easy to figure out.
