      Bruise it?

Lol Golovkin would put Martinez into a hospital bed. Martinez was nearly KTFO by an out of shape Chavez Jr. Golovkin was also extremely sick from the flu during the Rosado fight and still tore Rosado's face off.

Golovkin's face looked pretty fragile against Rosado. Unless the flu made him more susceptible to bruising. I wouldn't say Martinez was nearly knocked out by Chavez. Dropped and badly hurt, but never on the verge of being put down for a 10 count. And you fail to mention how much punishment Chavez had to take to get the chance to land his hardest shot on Martinez. You think Golovkin could stand up to that punishment? How is Golovkin, who's best win is Macklin, expected to dominate a top p4p fighter? Martinez is on a vastly superior level to the likes of Stevens, Rosado, Ouma, Adama, and even Macklin. Golovkin simply isn't proven enough to say he easily beats a healthy Martinez. If Rosado's power can bust up Golovkin's face, Martinez's definitely can. Simply put, there's a reason Martinez is middleweight champion and Golovkin isn't.

I don't see any sparking out Chavez by anybody from middleweight. I think he's going to get his face mashed to spaghetti until somebody tells him he's going to literally die unless they stop the fight though.

I Think GGG will good boy chavez in round 5.
The odds of this fight ending that early are slim to none, which is usually common among former sparring partners. Chavez's record is padded and his career was built on his fathers name, he performs well against the Brian Vera's of the world but against a seemingly unstoppable force like Golovkin he's going to regret ever signing that contract.

Let's not ignore the fact that GGG has over 300 times more amateur bouts than Junior, and he was able to translate it well into his pro career. I'm willing to bet GGG takes Chavez to the deep waters, catches him with a body shot and finishes him with a combination of unanswered punches.

              GGG by TKO.

Yeah, Martinez never stepped in the ring with GGG, and won't if his promoter has his say. What was Martinez' best win before stepping in with p4p Williams IYO?

Are you really dumb enough to think that Chavez Jr's defense is anywhere near as good as Golovkin's? Chavez Jr is a punching bag compared to Golovkin, Golovkin has won over 360 amateur fights and is vastly more skilled and a far harder puncher than Chavez Jr. The two guys are lights and day and fight nothing alike. Martinez couldn't even hurt Martin Murray and was dropped twice by Murray and nearly KTFO, Golovkin would obliterate him.

Because Golovkin destroyed Macklin in 3 rounds while Martinez was knocked down by Macklin and went 11 rounds with him, losing many of the rounds. Martinez has been knocked down like a ragged doll in all of his recent fights against guys Golovkin would wipe the floor with. Martinez for all of his athleticism has a very shaky defense and a questionable chin, all bad news when it comes to facing Golovkin.

And LOL at you claiming Golovkin isn't a middleweight champion. Actually he is, and the only reason Martinez still has his middleweight belt is because he is ducking Golovkin like the plague, since he knows Golovkin would end his career. Instead he is facing Cotto who is really a welterweight, lmao. Your hero Martinez is an overrated coward, deal with it.

Sergio did not recover quickly from that bout even though Jr was only able to engage for 1 minute or so in the last round of the fight...

                      What does that tell you?

Was Sergio still broken from Macklin?

****. I find myself defending a position that I'm not necessarily convinced of. Only suggesting that it's not entirely ******ed to think that this fight is no gimme' for GGG...
