Boxing is pillow fighting to UFC/MMA

I was just looking over some boxing videos on youtube and I drifted to MMA and I came across this video

Its just a compilation made by somebody of last years best knockouts. Quite brutal to be honest. Just look at some of those icings. Makes me wonder, how is it that just now studies are coming out saying MMA might be more brutal. Its like, jeez. Ya think? I thought that was the case for years. Scientists are slow. The punches alone look more trauma inducing than boxing. They are using those little azz gloves going HAM on each other. These guys have no chins either. They step in there with worse chins than Amir Khan using all kinds of spinning **** and force generating techniques. And on the ground is where they REALLY get ****ed up. Its WAYY more brutal than boxing imo. I dont know how you can say thats not the case and boxings worse, because its not.

Why don't you try sticking your head up your culo? See if it fits...

WMMA has surpassed Women's Boxing has far as importance and relevance goes. Totally off topic, I know. I'm sorry but I just was thinking that and decided to post it.

Gloves are what makes boxing great to watch. The fight isnt over just because a guy lands a good shot. In MMA, with those little gloves, it doesn matter if you're an ATG or GOAT. If you get caught, it's lights out.

Boxing allows for a fight that more of a chess match. Hence the term "Sweet Science". Not to say MMA doesnt have skill, but lately it seems like the strategy is to be the first guy to land a good shot and then jump one the opponent really quickly so the fight is called off. A lot of times you dont even get to see a lot of fighting skills, jockeying for position, etc.

How can you say that with a straight face after the first ko it showed? That **** was a weak off balance hook jab, and it put the supposed greateset out cold.

Sorry, but MMA is brawlers and grapplers with **** chins. Has nothing to do with the gloves.

What's with the abundance of closet MMgay fans showing. Get the **** outta here. No one gives a **** aboutyour strung out love for UFC. Go talk about it in the designated subforum. Fr ****s sake.

The reason it's "lights out" is because the vast majority of those guys aren't conditioned to take flush shots. Smallers gloves aren't the cause for so many amusing knockouts

MMA boys don't train for there head to be hit like boxers do or should do. Their small gloves allow for a more traumatic contact especially if placed properly.

damn well someone has a hard-on for talking **** to MMA fans. what'd you get armbarred when you were a baby or something? calm down.

i wasnt even comparing the skill of MMA to boxing DUMBASS. learn to read. I was just saying that there is probably more head trauma associated with mma than boxing. its obvious. i like boxing a lot more than mma, but i do happen to like mma little bit too as it is not that far off from boxing. so that makes me what, some kind of f4g?

get real, you side picking fanboys are the worst. if you like boxing, why cant you enjoy ufc also? they are both fighting sports after all. your just picking sides just for the sake of picking sides.

MMA causes more horrific injuries but there is actually more head trauma in boxing. More concussions.
