What personal shot? Mate, this is a boxing forum where 100% of the posters are male and you've got an avatar of yourself in a tank top flexing your muscles beside your car.

    It is what it is.

Ward took such a bad beating that he doesn't want to remember it.

I wouldn't say that is the whole time but that is better than just showing up for the 8 weeks before the fights, especially considering his lay off.

Now he knows nothing of the personal shot. As long as you know that Khan was catfished, all is good.

Let's see how he looks against Luis, which I don't see being a whitewash of a fight for him. Luis is going to really test Amir, let's see how he responds.
I agree completely, and as fun as it is to clown Amir if he can really put it together good for him.

I think the lay off will hurt him a bit.

It's something he's never done before so it's good that he's actively doing things to improve. People **** on him for changing trainers but surely that shows he is recognising his flaws? He could have just continued to go through the motions with Roach and still make a career out of it.

I think it is bad for falling back into bad habits, the gym is where you work on those things but to really make the better habits second nature you need to see it working in the ring and it really has to be repetitive. I don't even think level of competition matters much for this sort of thing, only for the final test which is how you react when the going gets tough

I never saw it that way with the trainer switches, it is possible but he always to me seemed to be scapegoating rather than looking at his flaws. The way he jumped to the flavor of the moment trainer, instead of looking for someone that would actually fix the flaws and be focused on him.

Good for him for keeping busy during his time off though, that should help his relationship with Hunter, which is a very under rated to the success of any fighter/trainer combo.

When Khan gets hit he just can't resist hitting back. He'll lose this.
