I'm not a broner fan and dont know what his final legacy will be, but your statement is wrong. I think him being humble wouldn't work , Great athletes still need that edge that they are the best even after defeat.

Jordan didn't back down when he was getting ***** kicked by the Pistons or Celtics it made him hungrier, Ali didn't act humble when he lost.I'm sure that defeat humbled him a bit. But It needs to motivate them. I actually gained respect for Broner he fought till the end he didn't buckle or back down even if he got his @ss kicked. I'd be more concerned if all of a sudden he started humble acting like Manny.
