Showtime and GBP said they want to work in a multi-deal.

It doesn't look good if he signs a multi-deal without going to bidding because this is the bid that matters.

Last bid was moot because HBO didn't give a crap about a fight that was a waste of money.

Maybe its worth putting a bob or two on Fonfara.

Yeah - as I understand it the matching deal was for the Fonfara fight only, but if you'll forgive my cynicism for just a moment, it's hard to imagine SHO bidding way over odds for the Fonfara fight without some 'first interest' on Stevensons further fights, or 'the structure for further fights' ahem..mentioned by Espinoza.

It's no secret that Haymon works almost exclusively with SHO, or that Stvensons preference is for BHop - strategically Haymon has taken every opportuninty to upbid HBO (as with La Bomba) or sabotage or poach fights - unless I am very mistaken his plethora of recent signings (including several 'must beat' fighters)

Edit..apologies for post hijack btw - if anyone noticed - missus K is a little drunk and decided it would be a good moment to salute y'all (and I'm sure quite inadvertantly Al Haymon) whilst I was helping the littleun to get to bed...anyways,

....has a interest way beyond just getting the best deal for this or that fighter, and certainly only involves signing fighters to HBO fights if it could damage their (HBOs) tactical or strategic interests.
