Bob, to his credit, found a way to get manny fights and control the whole promotion which maximizes his take from the fight. Floyd, as a promoter, is trying to do the same for the manny fight.
As I said to evol, its either a fair business practice that applies to every fighter or it isn't.
I don't see the need for it myself.

Ain't we supposed to want to see the best against the best? Getting KO is part of boxing or any contact sports. If you are the best, you fight whoever they put in front of you. Getting Koed is probability of happening because you put yourself in danger each time you step in the ring to fight.

Yes, I think the fight would get made, as has any fight where a promoter has moved aside for one fight or a fighter has joined a promoter as a condition of making a fight.

And no we don't agree. Because in 2009, all Manny had to do was "take da test and we got a fight".
The condition to become a free agent and leave Arum only came in 2013. And you've yet to explain why that is.
Like your statement, "all Manny had to do was "take da test and we got a fight". Did Arum or Manny agree to take the tests during the first round of negotiations? NO THEY DID NOT.
To me, your way of thinking is static. But you are choosing where to be static in the history of events. Like I said in my last post, you blame Floyd, I blame Arum. You do not have to explain to me why Arum walked away from negotiations and fought Clottey. I understand why. But Apparently, you have come to a different conclusion to all these events. That is why I said, "Manny can dissolve all of this by becoming a free agent and negotiating a fight with FMJ without Arum." Can we agree on that?

Fan boys takes excuses and preach em. from Ali vs Frazier 1, 2, and three I admire boxers that put their popularity on the line to beat the best they fitted against. Ali got KOed by Frazier, did his popularity and maketability suffered? NO. Lenox Lewis got KOed by Rachman, did his marketability went kapoot? NO. if you say you are the greatest, then fight the BEST that ALL the boxing fans knows who can really challenge you. If not, go and join Miss Universe or Miss world. That is a contest that requires POPuLARiTy.

LETS END THIS ONCE AND FOR ALL
Pacquiao's inner circle agree with what Alex Ariza first told FightHype readers over two years ago; that Bob Arum and Michael Koncz are preventing a mega-fight between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao from taking place
Floyd already spoke on it also saying Bob was doing underhanded **** that the public wasnt aware of....And you have Pac's inner circle saying Bob was the one holding things up.
