Bob, to his credit, found a way to get manny fights and control the whole promotion which maximizes his take from the fight. Floyd, as a promoter, is trying to do the same for the manny fight.

As I said to evol, its either a fair business practice that applies to every fighter or it isn't.

Respectfully, posters have given several reasons why the behind the scenes relationship could have changed and all you do is ignore them or mock them.

In 2009, Haymon fighters could fight on HBO, now they can't. In 2009, GBP fighters could fight on HBO, now they can't. In 2009 Ross Geenburg and Kerry Davis were with HBO, now they are not. change happens in business and we as fans don't always know why.

Most importantly in 2009 Bob had not made any fighter sign to TR as a condition of getting in Manny fight. In 2013 he had done it 3 times. This allows him to have total control and maximum profit from each fight.

Maybe its as simpe as floyd saw this, thought it was a smart move, and decided to copy it for the same reasons.

So what you saying is, and I'm assuming you are a boxing fan not a fan boy. That all of this is popularity contest, who makes what and who doesn't? Ain't we supposed to want to see the best against the best? Getting KO is part of boxing or any contact sports. If you are the best, you fight whoever they put in front of you. Getting Koed is probability of happening because you put yourself in danger each time you step in the ring to fight.
