Pacquiao: I won't leave Arum for Mayweather fight

How would you feel if a guy had basically ran a smear campaign against you for the past 5 years? I agree it is ****** that Floyd says he won't deal with Top Rank. I'm not even sure he won't. Floyd tries to get negotiations going on the phone, Arum won't answer and says he doesn't know who to call. Floyd gets his court date pushed back, and Manny has a cut that takes longer to heal than a shattered femur. Then he needs to build a temporary stadium and all that idiocy. Any attempt Floyd has made in good faith has been rebuffed by Team Pacquiao usually via Arum. So Floyd just needs to agree to whatever Arum wants, or else he is scared and doesn't want the fight? That is garbage when Floyd is clearly the bigger star of the two. Team Pacquiao has turned down multiple offers. If Arum wanted the fight so bad, why didn't he just offer Floyd the $100 million?

this is what i dont get. arum has nothing to do with the actual fight. floyd will be fighting manny not arum and how sweet of a revenge it would be by beating the best fighter of the promoter u hate the most?? i guess floyd doesnt want to seek revenge for all the bad things arum has done to him, atleast this is what the floyd fans claim as to why floyd doesnt wanna deal with arum.

Based on what? The hopes and dreams of fanboys? Floyd had the slightly better numbers then and he has the far better numbers now. Splits are based on star power, and at the point where they negotiated 50/50 it was because they had roughly equal drawing power. Now they don't as demonstrated by the decline in demand for Pacquiao fights. Which makes Floyd the clear A-side.

If I am not mistaken, floyd's request to have manny leave Bob came after TR had Tim, JMM and Shane cut ties with their promotional outfit as a condition of getting a fight with Manny. They all complied with this request. SO this request to get rid of Bob seems to be Floyd making his opponent do the same.

I get your point. I think this is likely more about the beef between Arum and Haymon than anything else.

Arum has been slamming Floyd in the press since just about the day he left Top Rank. He has done the same to other fighters that have left him too. You're saying this hasn't happened? What is your point exactly?
