I agree with you here. I've asked a couple of posters about this and they have not responded.

It's awfully hard IMO to be mad at floyd for asking Manny to leave when Bob made switiching promoters/severing ties with GBP a condition for tim, JMM and shane to fight Manny.

      Just sayin.
no everything is NOT the same as 2009 but what we're asking is what has changed between floyd and arum since then LOL.. u guys make it seem like arum and floyd had another dealing where arum rip floyd off again or something. floyd and arum has been distance from each other since 09 with any type of business deal so what changed to make floyd not want to deal with arum??

Well no because I don't remember Pacquiao demanding that Floyd severe ties with Golden Boy.

You don't find it funny that Arum is a problem in 2013 but he wasn't for the previous 5 years of negotiations? I notice you ducked that part of the post.
They did? Show me a link.

I find it no funnier than you having no issue with Manny changing his mind.

The offers were not serious, but Manny "agreeing" to the drug testing was?

Example: Cotto wanted Floyd so he left TR and got it. Simple & Easy.
im asking u when did GBP try to reach out for a fight with TR but arum said no? ur making it seems like GBP are willing to work with arum but arum isnt when in reality its both of them that doesnt wanna deal with eachother. cotto deal was over and he didnt resign. its not like he just got out of his contract to go fight floyd. if i recall manny's contract is over at the end of this year and he says he wont resign.

Well the reason I have less of an issue is because Pacquaio's change of mind was beneficial towards getting the fight made.

Floyd changing his mind and suddenly deciding in 2013 that Arum was a "big meany who he didn't wike anymoar" made the fight move further away.

Hmm...well then that would mean you blame Manny for the three years in between when his responses weren't beneficial? Or will you somehow find a way to blame Floyd for that too?

As for Manny leaving arum, he shouldn't have to. But Bob making tim, shane, and JMM sign with TR to fight Manny shouldn't have happened either.

IMO it's hypocritical to criticize floyd for this if you didn't criticize when Bob/Manny did same.
is floyd a promoter or a fighter? and manny is not shane, tim or marquez. u're asking the cash cow from this promotional company to just get up and leave his contract. where was shane or marquez gonna go at the time if they didnt sign with TR for a manny fight? u're making it seems like shane and maqruez could have gotten better deals if they went elsewhere. that was a cash out move by the both of them!

Don't you all find it childish and counter productive to choose sides? You realize its on BOTH fighters and its OK to admit it. You wont turn into pumpkins at midnight.
