    he's right
Thurman is still a work in progress, his best win is an old Quintana
wouldn't mind the fight though, Thurman is fun to watch
maybe he wins a rd or 2 but Floyd beats him handily
think he's Floyd's WBA mandatory after the Maidana fight
Floyd would beat him but it could be entertaining

      A Damm Shame.

Floyd cant win with you real housewives of BoxingScene.
No matter who that dude fights they are going to be the one to beat him.
then when he beats them, all of a sudden they are bums. SMH.
Yall was all on Victor Ortiz, Guerro, and especially Canelo....and they all got their asses whooped.
All of a sudden Maidana is the truth????

Feelings and "eye tests" don't matter. Its easy to look good versus average comp when you're above average. Idk why wins over Zavek, the unknown Argentinean, and Sotto Karas warrants the #1 P4P, but when was the last time Floyd fought anyone who either wasn't a champ or never has been one?

I'd say jettison Ortiz (he's done), and add Khan (probably done but still pretending), and make him get 2 Ws to 0 Ls against any 2 of them and I'd be OK with the Floyd fight.

Ellerbe is right. Thurman's comp has been mediocre at best.

Thurman's best win is an old Julio. He needs at lest a B level win to get Floyd's attention

Anyone who thinks Thurman wins 3 rds against Mayweather is either fooling themselves or flat out hates Floyd.

                    Floyd by easy U.D

"Nobody wants to fight him" is an excuse that promoters use to continue to pit their fighters against mediocre competition. There are plenty of top 15 fighters at welterweight who would be more than willing to fight Keith Thurman. Among them are Alexander and Guerrerro and, of course, Schafer could have made Khan/Thurman for May 3. Instead, he is putting Thurman in the ring agianst another mediocre opponent in the hopes that he will be able to get a fight against the best in the division without ever have fought a quality opponent. Sounds like the same script that Schafer used for Canelo Alvarez and Deontay Wilder. Alvarez held a championship belt for two years without fighting a 154-pound fighter, let alone his mandatory. Wilder is the mandatory opponent for a championship belt without ever have fought or beaten anyone ranked in the Top 20 in the heavyweight division.

Thank you Richard Schafer and Bob Arum for ruining boxing!
