Thurman aint ready yet,i dont even like floyd mayweather but its true what he says"ITS DIFFERENT WHEN YOUR ON THE OUTSIDE LOOKING IN",AND ITS TRUE,let thurman build his record by fighting solid guys first, and build his confidence first, then if it makes buisness sense and its a fight the public demands like a pac fight and money chooses not to fight him, then we could start with the ducking chants...but to me theres plenty of other fighters he could fight first before he becomes a fighter that the public demands floyd to fight...he might not make it to superstardom before floyd exits boxing for good!

I agree with u and Ellerbe. I just said that I think Thurman would **** up Chino and Khan and those were the guys in the Mayweather sweepstakes. Lol he's a high risk low reward fighter. He's not getting a Floyd no time soon. He can't even get a Broner fight if he wanted to right about now let alone one with Mayweather.

Maybe Thurman is not tested enough, but Mayweather or his camp always says this when Mayweather feels a fighter is too dangerous to fight. If Thurman wants the fight all he has to do is lose and Golden Boy will make him an offer.

How is this wrong??? The guys best win for far is Soto Karass, which was legit decent at the time. The guy Floyd's fighting now has 3 wins legit or decent at 147 and still gets crapped on.

Let Keith get a couple more good wins before this fight happens.
I absolutely agree...thurman aint ready yet!

Thurman is not "tested enough" aka Floyd will duck him and fight the Khan-Collazo winner and have two easy fights this year.

I agree that Thurman isn't tested enough but neither was Jermaine Taylor when he fought Hopkins..and I can name so many more..

Unless Mayweather is fighting the Pac-Bradley or Cotto-Martinez winner, then he should fight Thurman...only interesting option at 47' right now.

No doubt, I agree with you there D. Thing is, that stepping stone fight isn't appearing with all the ducking going on.

I mean thurman vs guerrero, berto, ortiz alexander are all fights i think would be a step closer, and if he was to beat all four of them in no specific order,i would be on the same page with you and say thurman is the number 1 contender to floyds lineacy...i just think he needs to start calling out those 4 fighters ive mentioned,or go behind closed doors and demand these fights that would catapult him to superstardom....porter is out of the question rite now,so i mean those are his only options right now imo..

Math according to the unreasonable Mayweather standard...

Floyd + Thurman Fight = Cherry Pick
Floyd - Thurman Fight = Ducking a young Strong Challenge
                    =
Damned if he do, Damned if he don't
