thurman hasn't fought anybody is the popular narrative but yet the gut feeling anyone with a pair of eyes has is he is the biggest threat to floyd even if the fight were to take place may 3rd. thurman will only continue to improve with each fight while floyd will continue to age. he ain't tryin to see one time. he will retire first after taking on khan, garcia and possibly pacquiao if pacman doesn't re-up on his top rank contract at the end of the year

Oh so Thurman is the new guy Floyd is supposedly ducking even though he hasn't beaten anybody? Its more like Thurman is not even in Mayweathers radar because Thurman hasn't beaten anyone.Had Floyd chose Thurman, people would have said who has Thurman beat?

Both fighters work with adviser Al Haymon, but that isn't enough to get Mayweather. Thurman has already been demanding a fight with Mayweather.

A relatively conventional, come forward guy, with precious little head movement, and a propensity to go straight back. Floyd would have him frustrated then unconscious. I say this as a guy that likes Thurman considerably more than Floyd.

I'll buy that Thurman will get better and could be absolutely great. He seems like he has the right attitude and a good enough head to be a great champion.

Thurman looks really good to me. He has good footwork for his height, he has really solid power and he can box smart.

He could've went in and stood toe to toe with Jesus Karass, but he decided to play it smart, move around, wear him down and then take him out. That's a sign of a really good fighter.

We've also seen him slug and walk opponents down, so he's definitely versatile. He's an appealing personality, so 2-3 big wins in a row should get him a Floyd fight. My money would be on the second fight of 2015, that should give Thurman enough time.

Wish they'd of gone Broner Khan and Thurman Collazo. Oh well, fn matchmaking.

He's right in a way but IMO Thurman would **** up Chino and Khan and those were the two guys in the Mayweather sweepstakes. Lol

                      Lol

How is this wrong??? The guys best win for far is Soto Karass, which was legit decent at the time. The guy Floyd's fighting now has 3 wins legit or decent at 147 and still gets crapped on.

Let Keith get a couple more good wins before this fight happens.
