The Areneta Collesium for the Thrilla in Manila was too hot and too humid. Almost killed both fighters.

I don't know if the place has been improved since then. When I went to it back in the mid 80's, it stunk like a bathroom.

the araneta has definitely improved but i think the fightrequires a bigger venue, like outdoors, i dont think the fort would even suffice

Also the revenue of selling it on TV, literarly the entire country will be watching the fight.
actually ticket value should be considered, i know people will really fork out money to see PAC-EM Live but to determine how big do they want this to be, FREE is the key word ...

how much did EM-PAC 2 cost/earned, put up a number and look for sponsors to finance the fight ...

There is no way its going to be FREE, how are they going to determine who can come and who can't.

i know what you mean bro but this is totally different, with PAC in the fight against a LEGEND like Erik Morales waging war in the P.I., this will have the support of the government, the sponsors and the masses ...

No way this will be free for anyone. It'll cause another stampede and kill half of the attendants.

they can't ... but everything must be setup by the sponsors, with pac's popularity in the P.I. and a fight against a legend, sponsorship will not be hard to find ...

that was an organized sh_t and those people where there for the money, we always have free fights in luneta ... remember luisito's fight with over 100,000 in attendance, no stampede there ...
