Now your making it complicated...those are a given floyd wins those fights",fantasy fights" cuz we know those fight aint gonna happen....chavez vs ggg is, and mathysse vs garcia did...so saying mathysse beats garcia,(which turned out to be fiction btw)and ggg beating chavez jr is a "fact",is purely "fanboy" lingo......i say it again "FANBOY LINGO"!!!

I just dont like when people post nonsence like that on here.....boxing is the theatre of the"unexpected"anybody who is not new to boxing would understand that..

Hey i'm willing to give Floyd those fantasy fights. I don't need to see him vs Arnaoutis or Nate Campbell either. When you say "it's a fact" it just means you're dead sure of the outcome, which may be legit here based on their performances to date.

Let the fight happen first....meldrick taylor was beating chavez sr for 11 rounds till chavez koed him, even though richrd steel made a bonehead descision to stop the fight with 10 seconds left in the fight.

Its good to be confident!! Imagine the fighter that isn't? Hate to pay or even watch him for free!
How does Junior match up with GGG, can he make 160lbs?
              He can barely hit 168lbs!
Why is he not fighting Ward at 168?

First post ever , just found these forums.
The safe money would be to bet on GGG.
Though in GGG's last fight in the middle rounds he let his defense down and took some shots that hurt him a tiny bit ,not devastating.

Chavez looked a lot better in the rematch vs Pera , if he continued his training a couple weeks after that fight he may surprise a lot of people against GGG with an upset (middle to late rounds KO).

Has it been 30 days since GGG's father died? If I remember correctly GGG's camp was in the middle of talks with another fighter when he died (was it against Sergio Martinez? I can't remember). The talks were stopped because of the fathers death and GGG would not be training for 30 days because it was a custom to be in mourning for that amount of time.

Those extra days of training could make this fight a closer match for Chavez.

GGG just has too much firepower, and i think this will be like margs-shane,,, chavez just walking forward getting bombed on till he cant take it anymore...

But props to chavez,, he doesnt run from the big fights, and always comes to fight...
He ran from Martinez for 2 years. Arum said that he knew the fans wouldn't excuse another failed attempt to make the fight so he caved in to public demand.

I think it was Andy Lee that they were trying to make a fight with when GGG's father passed. I'd give Chavez a good shot to at least hurt GGG given his size advantage and you know he will be on some type of juice heading into that fight as well.

This is a weird fight. Chavez will come into the ring as a cruiserweight, has an iron chin and will constantly apply pressure. I wonder how effective GGG's power will be moving up in weight against a guy that will be 2 weight classes above him.
