Floyd's fans run this board...they get mentioned in every thread...yall give those dudes too much free promotion tbh

HBO didn't offer Haymon's cash cow a deal....they chose to do a fight by fight deal and then **** on the cow whenever they felt like....plus Haymon's relationship to BHop is so under the table that even Skinny Joey Merlino would be mobsterously impressed lol

HBO didn't have a contract with Stevenson, their fault. Fighters in general do not like to be tied up for several fights unless the money is good enough. Stevenson knows this is one of the most anticipated fights in boxing and therefore he wants to milk it as much as he can. That's what's ****ed up about boxing, the more demand there is for a fight, the less likely it is to happen because fighters will either ask for a lot of money, or will wait so the fight can get even more lucrative.

And Showtime is the answer to the ills in boxing, you're saying?

HBO is not fighting back because they know things will eventually come around. All GBP-Haymon have is Floyd and he is at the end tail of his career. After Floyd, BHop and Pac retire, it is back to even playing field where HBO will once again dominate with new stars and great fights. By then GBP will be crawling back to HBO or worse, go broke.

No, Showtime is worse because it's totally controlled by Haymon and Golden Boy.

Al Haymon did not blow anything. He is supposed to get his fighters the most money for each fight. Boxing is prize fighting. The prize is money. Any fighter that says differently is lying. All these fighters that are aligning themselves with Haymon are aware he will get the most money for them. It is easy to see that other promoters do not like him, but I do not hear the fighters complaining. HBO has a budget for Boxing and chose not to match a offer from Showtime. Therefore, AD fights on Showtime for the next 2 fights. Both fights should be this year, then we will see what is next.

Stevenson is shook, Haymon is a crook and so is Schaefer. They belong together and should stick to fighting scrubs.

come on man, Stevenson wanted nothing at all to do with Kovalev because he knew he would get smacked around worse than his own hoes did back in the day. His goal was Hopkins from day 1.

Al Haymon is good for his boxers, but I never like a monopoly in anything. Once one man has too much power, danger usually comes.
